Meet Franklin DeLeon, Owner of Crickets Landscaping
A Passion for Landscaping
Franklin, a proud immigrant from Guatemala, came to the United
States at the age of 17. His love for landscaping began at a young age,
working alongside his father on their family farm in Guatemala, where
they tended to animals and various crops, including fruit trees such as
bananas. His father instilled in him a deep appreciation for the outdoors,
plant maintenance, and the discipline of hard work.
Building a Successful Career
After settling in the United States and becoming a proud U.S. citizen in 2010, Franklin’s first professional landscaping job was for a landscaping company in Acton, MA. During his five years there, he honed his skills and gained valuable industry experience. It was during this time that Franklin also began taking on side jobs, helping neighbors and friends with their landscaping needs.
Starting His Own Business
Word of Franklin’s exceptional work quickly spread, and he was soon inundated with requests. Encouraged by his growing clientele and the positive feedback he received, Franklin realized his dream of starting his own landscaping business. The support and encouragement from his early customers played a pivotal role in his decision to venture out on his own.

When not working, Franklin enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, and his dog, “Coffee”. He is a avid soccer player and a passionate fan of the New England Revolution, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics. Franklin’s commitment to staying busy throughout the year extends beyond his personal interests. He believes in providing consistent work for his employees, enabling them to support their own families. By keeping his team busy, Franklin contributes to the economic well-being of his community.
